Delta State Government moves to equip hospitals with dialysis and CT-Scan machines

In line with his MORE Agenda, Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori has ordered the procurement of eight dialysis and CT-Scan machines for state government hospitals.

Governor Oborevwori made this disclosure after inspecting various projects in Warri and Uvwie Council Areas.

The governor also visited Central Hospital Warri where he took the Chief Medical Director up on complaints by patients about their non adherence to state government policy of free medicare for O-5 yrs children and pregnant women.

He addressed this complaint instantly and promised to construct roads within the hospital among other things.

Residents of Warri and its surrounding areas were thrown into a frenzy on sighting Governor Oborevwori because of ongoing construction of Model Technical College Omadino, flood control projects in Warri and Effurun areas, including three flyovers at Enerhen PTI Junction and DSC Roundabout among others.

The governor said the completion of the three flyovers would give Warri and environs a new look and at the same time aid free flow of traffic while the roads under construction would complement the flyovers.

The Governor also inspected ongoing reconstruction of Orerokpe – Okuloho – Oviri-Okpe road, storm water drainage at Ugolo – Okpe Junction and the massive Osubi Storm Water Management and Control Measures put at 5566 meters in length.
