Delta State Government has debunked allegations that it had sold the Liason Office in Lagos, saying that the state only engaged the services of Property Developers to build luxury flats to add more value to the state
Commissioner for information Charles Aniagwu who made this clarification at a news conference in Asaba said the state government entered into a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) arrangement with property developers and managers to develop the site to a 10-storey 60 luxury flats that would earn the government further income as against the state governments intended 21-storey building which the Lagos state government declined to approve.
Aniagwu took a swipe on the APC Governorship candidate and Deputy President of the Senate Senator Ovie Omo-Agege for peddling lies and propaganda against the state government and urged Deltans not to succumb to the antics of the Orogun-born Senator.

He emphasised that PDP Governorship candidate Sheriff Oborevwori is clear about what he would do for the state through his MORE Agenda if he emerges victorious while any vote for APC the Candidate, Aniagwu said, would spell doom for electoral democracy in the state.
