Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has re-affirmed his administrations commitment towards ensuring that Delta State gets nothing less than quality projects as long as he is in office.
Governor Oborevwori who made this pledge during an inspection tour of the 20-kilometre Trans-Warri Road and bridges as well as Omadino Technical College in Warri South Local Government Area cautioned that site engineers who compromised along their line of duty would be liable for any shoddy jobs supervised by them.
The Governor promised that work on the protracted Trans-Warri Road and allied bridges would be completed in two years even as he cautioned site engineers to live up to expectations.
The Governor who charged contractors to fast track work on the project also assured of government fulfilling its part of the bargain to ensure prompt completion of the project within two years.
Governor Oborevwori joined by the Olu of Warri for the inspection of the project later paid courtesy visit on the Royal Father who in turn showered praises on his administration’s consistency in execution of projects.
The Governor later inspected the on-going construction work at Omadino Technical College where he summoned contractors to a meeting that centred on quick completion of projects across the state without compromising standard.
