Three crew members have been confirmed alive, while a yet to be identified dead body was discovered early hours of Sunday morning at the vicinity of the exploded Trinity spirit FPSO vessel.
In a statement issued by management of SEPCOL, the three crew members were found alive in the community and are already receiving medical attention.
The statement noted that efforts are still ongoing to ascertain the whereabouts of the remaining crew members.
It would be recalled that, a Trinity spirit floating, production, storage and offloading vessel , FPSO, for lifting all OML 108 production, exploded at the Ukpokit terminal, Escravos waters last week Wednesday.
The raging fire from the explosion completely burnt out on Thursday afternoon, 6th of February, 2022.
