The deposed Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi ll, on Friday led the Juma’at prayers in Awe town which is the Headquarters of Awe Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
Sanusi attended the prayers at the Awe Central Mosque alongside the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El Rufai, who visited him.

The residence of the deposed Kano monarch is about 50 meters away from the mosque.
The entire vicinity is cordoned off with a team of combined security operatives to prevent people from getting anywhere close.
Journalists are also not allowed to come close to the place.
