The Director General, Michael Imoudu National Institute for Labour Studies, Issa Aremu has described the untimely death of Senior labour Correspondent of Africa Independent Television (AIT), Rosemary Mohogbone Wilkey as a rude shock to the Institute and the entire nation.
Aremu who registered his condolences while fielding questions from ait.live Correspondent shortly after the maiden Matriculation of the 2022/2023 academic session of the Bachelor of Science in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management of the institute maintained that Wilkey was a selfless and reliable partner who was extremely committed to the realization of the labour institute’s agenda to promote labour education in Nigeria through her weekly programme Policy on Trac.
Issa Aremu further noted that the demise of Mohogbone Wilkey including that of the founder of Daar Communications PLC, Chief Raymond Dokpesi remain painful experiences for the Institute .
Meanwhile the Institute has matriculated over 85 students into its 2022/2023 academic session for the Bachelor of Science in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management in collaboration with the University of Ilorin.
