Dignitaries including the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria Godwin Emefiele, The Minister of Information and Culture Lai Mohammed, The Senate President Senator Ahmed Lawan, The Governor of Osun State Ademola Adeleke, Ogun State Governor, Former Senate President Bukola Saraki , Minister oF Aviation Hadi Sirika , Captains of Industries, Royal Father’s including the Oni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi among others are presently on ground to witness the Official Commissioning of the Long awaited Dangote Refinery.
The Refinery that will be commissioned by President Muhamadu Buhari would enable Nigeria achieve self-sufficiency in refined petroleum products, as well as export to other African markets.
The 650,000 barrels per day Dangote Refinery and Petrochemical Company, located in Ibeju Lekki Lagos, as projected, can create a $21 billion market for Nigeria’s crude oil.

Dangote Refinery and petrochemical company is set to reshape Nigeria’s economy and position the country as a global energy player as it will help address the fuel shortage challenges in the country.
