The National Commission for persons with Disability leadership in Nigeria has again expressed commitments to strengthening of capacities of persons with Disabilities as a build up to 2022 global summit.
The Executive Secretary of the Commission, James Lalu, said this during a news briefing on Monday in Abuja

He insisted on the need to ensure that the rights of people with Disabilities, especially from marginalised groups, are protected and enforced
Lalu also made commitments on the inclusion of PWDs in healthcare, Education, inclusive employment and livelihoods.
In the build up to the global Disability summit 2022, the joint National Association of persons with Disabilities with support from sightsavers want government to listen to the demands of people with disabilities in Nigeria.
