The 3-day warning strike by doctors in public health facilities at the Federal Capital Territory, which began on Tuesday, has been called off.
Though the action disrupted services in many hospitals, ait.live observed that some facilities, like the Asokoro District Hospital which offered limited medical services on Wednesday, has however resumed full operations.
For patients and relations, it was a tale of mixed realities across hospitals in the FCT for the 2 days when the warning strike called by the FCT chapter of the Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors, lasted.
The industrial action which took effect from Tuesday morning, left many General Hospitals in skeletal operation mode, with some facilities shutting down Outpatients clinics entirely.
Sources said that at the Asokoro District Hospital, doctors were reportedly attending to patients despite the strike on Wednesday.

But, what was described as an unusual presence of Medical personnel at the Asokoro District Hospital, contrasted with the situation was in other facilities, where patients expressed frustration over abandoned appointments and long waits.
The Resident doctors body had issued the strike Notice on Monday night, citing non-payment of salaries to newly employed doctors, among other grievances.
