Dokpesi family visits Benin monarch; Seeks Royal blessings

The Chairman of Daar Communications plc Raymond Dokpesi jnr has led family members and friends to the palace of the Oba of Benin, His Royal Majesty, Oba Ewuare the second.

The Royal visit by the Dokpesi’s was to appreciate the highly respected Benin monarch for his support during the final burial of late Raymond Dokpesi and to seek his royal blessings.

The visitors to the palace of the oba of Benin were ushered into the beautiful palace of the Benin monarch, Oba Ewuare the second.
As usual prominent palace chiefs were on ground to receive the guests.

The Chairman of Daar Communications plc Raymond Dokpesi jnr who led family members and friends to tell the respected king thank you for your support during the burial ceremony of late high chief Raymond Dokpesi also sought for royal blessings for the entire family.

The magnanimous Benin monarch said that the Palace does not receive visitors on weekends but that it broke its own rule because of the respect the traditional institution has for the late founder of Daar Communications plc by receiving the family on weekend.

The Iyase of Benin Kingdom, Chief Sam Igbe offered special prayers for the Dokpesi family on behalf of the Palace

Two brothers of the late high chief Raymond Dokpesi spoke on the mood of the family since the departure of Raymond.

The signing of the visitors register and the group photograph by the host and guests drew the curtain on the Royal visit.

July 23rd makes it one month since the EZOMO of Weppa Wanno was committed to mother earth.
