There was mild drama as business activities were crippled at the Abuja Continental Hotel as the Trade Union Congress enforced its vow to picket the establishment following reports of anti-labour practices and non-unionisation
Leading the protesting workers, TUC President General, Festus Osifo said over thirty affiliate-unions including the Nigeria Labour congress, NLC, decided to storm the premises following failed attempt to reach a compromise at the negotiating table.
As at the time of filing this report, the labour leaders are still locked up in a meeting and based on the directive of the TUC president, should talks breakdown, the protest continues the next day
