DSS denies attacks on luxury buses

The department of state services, DSS has dismissed reports of terrorists’ attacks on luxury buses in the federal capital territory and other parts of the southern and middle belt regions of the country.

The service says the reports are misleading and untrue. It made particular reference to the alleged hijack of luxury buses of three major companies on the Lokoja – Okene road

The service, via a statement signed by its public relations officer Peter Afunnaya says the reports are fabricated and designed to instigate ethno-religious crisis and political violence in the country

It says while security and law enforcement agencies are committed to sustaining public safety, citizens should support by reporting genuine incidences and suspicious persons and activists to relevant agencies of government
