The Department of State Services, DSS has denied laying siege to the Lagos office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, saying its officials did not block staff of the anti-graft agency from accessing their office
DSS in a Statement signed by its Public Relations Officer, Peter Afunanya says claims by EFCC are untrue, noting that the service was only occupying its own facility where it carries out its official and statutory responsibility.

The Service added that there is no controversy over No.15A Awolowo Road, Ikoyi in Lagos State, insisting that the DSS has always occupied the building which it claims to have housed its headquarters from inception
DSS further stressed that there is no rivalry between it and the EFCC over and about anything.
