The Department of State Security Services has paraded a forty-five year old man for impersonating as one its personnel in Jalingo the Taraba State capital.
The suspect is said to have impersonated a member of the security outfit in Bauchi, Gombe and Adamawa States, before he was caught in Jalingo.
Ishaya Jonathan, arrested for impersonation by the DSS in Taraba State is alleged to have been parading himself as an Assistant Director of the security outfit, before he was apprehended.
The Assistant Director, Security Service Enforcement, Akintola Balogun told newsmen in Jalingo the Taraba State capital, that investigation revealed that the suspect had also married two women based on deceit.
The suspect was said to have been arrested and prosecuted for the same offence in 2017, and released after serving his jail term.
The DSS asks the public to beware of such dubious persons in the society, to avoid falling victim to their fraudulent activities.
It also warned other criminal elements against impersonating personnel of the DSS, as stiff penalties await such action.
