Barely 24 hours after the kidnap of the aged mother of the Kano Central Senatorial District Candidate of the APC, Abdulkadir Zaura, the operatives of the Department of State Services, DSS have rescued her in far away Jigawa State.
The aged mother was kidnapped by unknown gunmen in her residence in Zaura town of Ungogo Local Government area of Kano State on Monday.
The Chairman of Ungogo Local Government, Abdullahi Garba Ramat, confirmed on Tuesday, that she was rescued in Jigawa State, by operatives of the DSS.
