Dunamis Five: Court orders DSS to release arrested worshippers wearing inciting T-shirts

Less than Twenty-four hours after a report by ait.live, operatives of the Department of State Security, DSS have released the saxophone of the visually impaired young man, Samuel Gabriel who was arrested in July along with four others for wearing anti-Buhari T-shirts to attend a church service at the Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Abuja, the nation’s capital.

This followed the intervention of the Senior Pastor, Dr. Paul Enenche after the church was wrongly accused of being in possession of the musical instrument with the arrest of the suspects now popularly known as the Dunamis Five.

Visually impaired Samuel Gabriel was excited to receive his saxophone which has been in the custody of the Department of State Services in the last 3 weeks.

But Gabriel had earlier alleged that the Dunamis International Gospel Centre was holding onto his saxophone after their arrest and release on bail.

ait.live was however handed over the musical instrument which was in the possession of the DSS to return to Gabriel.

The spokesperson for the church, Dr. Ada Ochueche says they have nothing to do with the seizure of the saxophone or the arrest of the Dunamis 5.

Ochueche further explained that the Dunamis International Gospel Centre is a place for worship and is open to all who desire to sincerely serve God.
