Vice president, Yemi Osinbajo & Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha

Nigeria’s Vice president, Yemi Osinbajo, and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, want Nigerians to emulate the virtue of love, sacrifice, and selflessness exemplified by the Lord Jesus Christ in accepting to die on the cross.

Osinbajo and Boss Mustapha gave the advice during an interview with state house correspondents immediately after the Easter Sunday service at the State House Chapel, Aso Villa,

Osinbajo’s easter message was taken from the new testament book of John chapter 3 verse 16, which typifies the amazing love of God when he gave up his only son to die for mankind.

The vice president, therefore, appealed to Nigerians to love one another and be ready to serve the country wholeheartedly.

For the secretary to the Nigerian government, Boss Mustapha, the takeaway for Nigerians from the 2023 easter celebration is lessons of sacrificial service to man and country.

In his sermon, the chaplain of the Aso villa chapel, Seyi Malomo, says Nigeria will overcome her current socio-economic and political challenges just as Jesus Christ overcame the grave and rose from death.

The easter service at the Aso Villa chapel witnessed renditions of various worship songs, scriptural readings, and prayers for the nation.
