Muslims in Ebonyi State, Southeast Nigeria Friday, gathered at their various holy grounds across the State to take part in the Eid Al-Fitr celebrations.
Some of the worshippers seen converge on the Central and Hossana Mosques, both in Abakaliki, the State capital at about 8 o’clock in the morning to take part in the spiritual exercise, which marks the end of the Ramadan fast.
After the prayers, the Imam of Hosana mosque, Nuhu Haruna, reiterates the need for peace to reign in Nigeria, especially in this post-electoral phase of the country.
