The recent exit of three countries from the regional bloc of ECOWAS, is at the top of the Agenda as its Parliamentary group opens first extraordinary session and First Parliamentary Seminar for the year 2025 in Lagos, Nigeria.
The joint opening ceremony which brings together community parliamentarians and key stakeholders to discuss current legislative matters, is to also access the successes and challenges – 50 years after the formation of ECOWAS, and 25 years of its legislative arm.
