Edo 2020: APC campaign team visits Egor LGA

‌Elders and residents of the Ugbowo Community in the Egor Local Government Area of Edo State have pledged to work for the victory of the APC Candidate Osagie Ize-Iyamu in next week’s Governorship Election in the state.

The elders and residents, who made the pledge when Adams Oshiomhole and Ize-Iyamu took the party’s last-minute ward to ward campaigns to the locality, appealed to the governorship hopeful to help them tackle the plethora of challenges confronting them especially the bad state of roads in the community.

The elders and residents of the Ugbowo Community in Egor Local Government said the last time they enjoyed good governance in Edo State was during the tenure of Oshiomhole. The people, while pledging support for the victory of the APC governorship candidate, appealed to him not to abandon them like the present administration In the state.

The campaign train then moved to popular Benin Lagos Expressway to address their teeming supporters who trooped out in their large number to listen to the simple agenda manifesto of Ize-Iyamu, thereby causing heavy traffic while the campaign rally lasted.

Ize-Iyamu and Oshiomhole also went to the very busy Uwelu spare parts market, where he APC candidate promised the traders that he will build an ultramodern spare parts market for them when elected as governor.

A trader who said he is pleased with the simple agenda manifesto of the APC candidate, donated the sum of one million naira for him to support the campaign.

Nigerian movie star, Chinedu Ikedieze, popularly known as Aki, also solicited votes for Ize-Iyamu.
