Edo State Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, has inaugurated a thirty man State Campaign Council and its sub-committees with a charge to deliver the party’s candidate Governor Godwin Obaseki in the September 19 governorship election.
The inauguration was done by the State Chairman of the party, Anthony Aziegbemi, at Governor Godwin Obaseki’s Campaign office in Benin City, Edo State capital.
National Vice Chairman, PDP South South and Chairman, Edo State Campaign Council, Dan Orbih who noted that Governor Godwin Obaseki has done well, took a swipe at the opposition party in the state and its candidate.

Meanwhile the
Director General of the party’s campaign organisation, Osarodion Ogie, opined that the achievements of Governor Obaseki has endeared him to the people as such he is the the candidate to beat at the poll.
Addressing the newly inaugurated campaign council, Governor Obaseki, said his campaign will be done differently, taking into consideration the coronavirus pandemic.
The State council and its sub-committees are set to commence campaigns across the one hundred and ninety two wards of the State.
