Ahead of the 2027 general elections, the Edo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has launched a major digital re-organisation drive with a Train the Trainer programme on electronic membership registration.
Party leaders say the initiative, which allows prospective members to register using their smartphones from anywhere in the state, is designed to strengthen grassroots structures and mobilise millions of votes for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
With just a smartphone, prospective members of the All Progressives Congress in Edo State can now register from anywhere, making the process faster, transparent, and verifiable.
This is the focus of the one-day Train-the-Trainer Retreat, flagged off by the Edo State Chairman of the APC, Jarrett Tenebe.
Party leaders, trainers, and representatives from the 18 local government areas of the state converge with a shared objective , repositioning the APC through a fully digitised membership registration system.
Trained representatives will now return to their wards to train others, ensuring full coverage across all 192 wards in Edo State.
The digital exercise is expected to strengthen the party’s numerical base and support Governor Monday Okpebholo’s pledge to deliver 3.5 million votes for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
Chieftains of the Edo APC say the digital transition will redefine political participation, strengthen mobilisation, and reshape the party’s trajectory as preparations intensify for the 2027 elections.
