The crisis rocking the Edo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC has taken a different dimension with the creation of a new secretariat different from the original party’s secretariat along airport road in Benin City.
The faction of the party loyal to Adams Oshiomhole opened a new secretariat following the letter sent to INEC by the national chairman of the party notifying the electoral body of the change of state office, while the Governor Godwin Obaseki’s faction still retain the old party secretariat building for its own activities
A visit by AIT to the New Secretariat of the APC faction loyal to Adams Oshiomhole, shows that work is still ongoing to adore the building with the party’s symbol, while the notice board displayed the credentials of the six governorship aspirants of the party

Chris Azebamwen is the spokesman for the Oshiomhole’s faction while Anselm Ojezua is the chairman of the party loyal to Governor Godwin Obaseki.
The Edo APC now has two state party chairmen, two state secretaries, two publicity secretaries and now two party secretariats.
