Progress of work on Ramat Park flyover

Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has expressed satisfaction with the quality and pace of various infrastructure projects currently ongoing across the state.

The governor made this known during an extensive tour of key project sites, including the Ramat Park Flyover and the 150-bed Edo State Specialist Hospital in Udomi, among others.

This marks Governor Monday Okpebholo’s first official project inspection visit since celebrating his first anniversary in office.

His first stop was the historic Ramat Park Flyover, the first-ever flyover in Benin City. The governor was warmly received by excited residents who trooped out to commend him for the visible progress made under his administration.

Accompanied by the Commissioner for Works, Felix Akhabue and other top government officials, Governor Okpebholo climbed to the top of the flyover to personally assess the quality and pace of construction.

On the persistent flooding challenges around Ramat Park and its environs, the governor later inspected the flood control project on Obaseki Street, opposite Western Boys High School, Off Agbor Road. Residents in the area expressed appreciation and offered prayers for the governor’s timely intervention.

The inspection tour continued to Edo Central Senatorial District, where the governor and his entourage visited several ongoing road projects in Uromi, Ubiaja, Irrua, and his hometown, Udomi.

The tour concluded at the construction site of the 150-bed Edo State Specialist Hospital in Udomi, where the governor assessed progress and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to quality healthcare infrastructure.
