Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo

Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, is putting his campaign promises into action with a visit to the long-neglected Ebomisi Secondary School in Ugbogiobo, Ovia North East Local Government Area. The governor pledged to rebuild the school in the coming days after inspecting its dilapidated facilities. Governor Okpebholo expressed concern over the poor state of the school’s infrastructure, stating that his administration is committed to delivering practical governance across all sectors.

During a campaign visit to the Ugbogiobo community in the run-up to the last governorship election, Governor Okpebholo made a brief stop at Ebomisi Secondary School after receiving complaints from local residents about the abandonment of the school by the previous administration. One week after his inauguration, Governor Okpebholo visited the school to assess the situation firsthand. After inspecting the facilities, he promised to rebuild the school in the coming days, emphasizing his commitment to improving education in the state.

Following his visit to the school, Governor Okpebholo inspected ongoing repairs on the failed section of Upper Mission Extension by Aduwawa. Residents and road users expressed their appreciation for the governor’s quick action on the road project.

The governor then moved on to inspect work on the Benin-Ekpoma-Auchi Road, further demonstrating his commitment to improving the state’s road infrastructure.
