The Edo State All Progressives Congress, APC Governorship candidate and Senator representing Edo Central, Monday Okpebholo, and and Senator Adams Oshiomhole have praised President Bola Tinubu for his swift response to the urgent rehabilitation of the Benin-Ekpoma-Auchi-Abuja Highway.
They expressed their appreciations during a recent visit to the site to assess the progress of repair work on the road.
The deteriorating condition of the Benin-Ekpoma-Auchi-Abuja Highway has long troubled road users, with Senators Okpebholo and Oshiomhole expressing their deep worry about the situation. As a result, they addressed the issue in the 2024 budget and requested for President Tinubu’s immediate intervention.
For Senator Okpebholo, it was his second inspection of the road repairs within 10 days, where he acknowledged the President’s prompt action to address the problem.
Okpebholo and his running mate, Dennis Idahosa, along with Oshiomhole, made a stop to address APC supporters who had gathered in Ekpoma. Okpebholo demonstrated his deep knowledge of the Esan language by speaking to them in their dialect.
Akpakomiza as the APC Governorship candidate is popularly known says he is coming to rescue and reset Edo State on the path of progress.
