The candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, in the forthcoming Edo State Governorship election, Senator Monday Okpebholo has assured residents of the state that he will create a suitable economy for businesses to thrive, if he is elected as Governor.

The APC standard bearer gave the assurance during an interactive session with Professionals and the Business community in Benin City, the state capital.

Senator Okpebholo and his running mate, Dennis Idahosa, are joined by top party chieftains and members of the APC Governorship campaign council in Edo State, for an interactive session with Professionals and Business people from the state.

Organiser of the event, Blessing Agbomhere says the purpose is for the APC candidate to interact with the Professionals and Business Community and to tell them his interest in developing the state’s economy.

The interactive session commences, with different participants asking questions and making observations, while the APC Governorship candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo, responds to them. He promises to patronise professionals and businesses within Edo State, rather than go outside.

Director-General, APC Edo Governorship Election Campaign Council, Matthew Uhroghide; former Edo Governor and Senator representing Edo North, Adams Oshiomole and other party chieftains accuse the current administration of several wrongdoings saying Senator Okpebholo will serve the state diligently, if elected.
