The all progressives congress has expressed confidence that it will win the upcoming September governorship election in edo state.
Citing the crisis within the ruling people’s democratic party (PDP) and the disconnect between its candidate and the people, Senator Adams Oshomhole and the Minister of Niger Delta Abubakar Momoh, the ruling party did not deliver on its mandate.
The two Edo State APC leaders made the statement when they accompanied the APC candidate in the september 21 election, Monday okpebholo, to the presidential villa on Friday

Oshiomhole and Momoh who briefed state house correspondents after meeting President Bola Tinubu, denied the” insinuations” that the crisis that emanated from the invalidation of the PDP governorship primary was orchestrated by the APC, pointing out that it was an internal crisis of the ruling party
The visit came a day after the federal high court in Abuja, nullified the governorship primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, which produced Asue Ighodalo as its candidate for the state election.
