The Chairman of the APC National Campaign Council for the Edo Governorship Election and Governor of Kano State Abdullahi Ganduje is in Benin the State capital to canvass for votes for the party’s candidate, Osagie Ize-Iyamu in Saturday’s election.
Ganduje was joined by his counterpart from Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma to reach out to the Hausa and Igbo communities in Edo State.
A former lawmaker Ibrahim Shekarau was also joined in the campaign trail to the Arewa community in Eyean axis of Benin city where Ize-Iyamu and his running mate Gani Audu were presented to the people as the right men for the job.
Speaking, Ize-Iyamu assured the Hausa community that he will not disappoint them when elected as Governor of the State.
This was as the Governor of Imo State Hope Uzodinma met with Igbo indigenes in Edo State; appealing to them to deliver a block vote for APC’s Osagie Ize-Iyamu.
The Igbo Indigenes who assured Uzodinma of their support for APC presented an award of excellence to the Imo State Governor for his performance in Imo State.
