Edo State Government has declared Friday, September 20, a work-free day in the State, to enable workers and other electorate to travel to their voting areas ahead of the September 21 governorship election in the State.
This was communicated in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Joseph Eboigbe who assured that security measures have been provided to ensure a free, fair, and credible election.

He conveyed the wishes of the State government for journey mercies of the people to their polling units.
