The Edo state police command has warned against the use of weapons at any polling unit during Saturday’s local government election in the state.
This was contained in a press statement released by the public relations officer Chidi Nwabuzor on Thursday.
The police image maker says the Command has deployed to various units, officers and men in collaboration with other Sister Security agencies to ensure a peaceful election in all eighteen local government area of the state.

He solicits the cooperation of electorate to maintain law and order noting that only eligible voters and agents will be allowed at the polling units.
The command also warned party representatives not to take Political Party Logo or any form of Political Party paraphernalia to the polling units.
