Edo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP says it has uncovered plans to embarrass and stone its delegates to the National Convention of the party in Abuja.

In a statement co-signed by the State party Secretary, Hilary Otsu and the Organising State Secretary, Tony Anenih Jr., the Edo State PDP chapter said there are plots to embarass the party’s convention organisers and stone the state delegation with pure water sachets is billed to happen at the accreditation arena at the Old Parade Ground and also at the Convention ground at the Eagle Square in Abuja.
The Edo PDP therefore called on the National Convention planning committee to ensure tight security measures and supervision are taken to prevent the official tags for Saturday’s National Convention from getting into the wrong hands.
