Edo Police Parades Fifty-Six Suspected Criminals

Edo State Police command says it will continue to encourage mass participation and community policing in crime-fighting to ensure that criminals will have no hiding place in the state

Newly deployed Commissioner of Police Johnson Kokumo while parading fifty-six suspected criminals at the police headquarters in Benin said the command is ready to arrest and expose criminals terrorising the state and bring them to justice.

Parading the criminals including suspected armed robbers, cultists, kidnappers and the alleged killers of Isobase Omon Iyioha, led by Osasu Osadolor,the two time commissioner of police said they were arrested shortly before and after his assumption of office through community effort and surveillance.

The suspected killers of Barrister Osobase including Emmanuel David Valentine Dibie and Taiwo Uhunwagho all confessed and narrated their level of involvement in the crime.

Also paraded at the police command was a couple arrested over the alleged murder of their nine-year-old sick and mentally challenged son at Egbeta community in Ovia North East.
According to the suspects,the sick son had drained them of all their life savings.and felt they should get rid of him

CP kokumo has however assured Edo people of his determination to ensure that criminals are brought to justice.
