Nigeria’s representatives in the 2024 CAF women’s Champions League, Edo Queens, have been drawn in Group B of the tournament alongside defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa, Ethiopia’s CBE F.C. and Toutankhamon of Egypt.

The draws were made at the Complex Mohamed VI in Salé, Morocco, on Friday, with eight teams divided into two groups of four.

Group A consists of one-time winners AS FAR of Morocco, Senegal’s Aigles De La Medina, Congolese club TP Mazembe, and South Africa’s University of Western Cape.

Following Bayelsa United’s impressive run in the second edition of the tournament in 2022, where they finished third, Edo Queens hopes to surpass the achievement of their South-South counterparts.

The CAF women’s Champions League competition will hold in Morocco from November 9 to 23, 2024.
