The Speaker of Edo State assembly Frank Okiye says this morning he received a call that the house was being invaded which prompted security presence at the assembly complex.
Speaking to journalists after being briefed by the Assembly Security officer, the Speaker in the company of the State Deputy Governor Phillips Shuaibu described the report as a rumour as there was no invasion of the premises by anybody.

AIT.Live reports that Just as the speaker was addressing journalists the PDP youths stormed the premises chanting PDP slogan and carrying placards.
