On June 22, 2023, the Commission is expected to publish the names of candidates contesting for Chairmanship positions and Councillorship seats, as campaigns are to commence on June 24, 2023.

Osayande added that submission of names to change and substitute candidates will take place on July 8, 2023; while publication of the Notice of Polls at the Ward Collation Centres is on July 26, 2023.

On August 1, 2023, the Commission will publish the final list of validated candidates, while August 22, 2023, will be for submission of names of Party Agents by Political Parties.
