The Zenith labour party has picked its candidates for the coming Edo Governorship Election.
In the primaries conducted on Sunday, June 14 in Benin City the Edo state capital, South South Nigeria, Bishop Akhalamhe, emerged as the Governorship candidate of the ZLP after he was unanimously adopted by members of the party as the sole aspirant.
The primaries were conducted by the National Chairman of the Zenith Labour Party Chief Dan Nwanyanwu represented by the Delta State Chairman of the party Emeka Nkwoala who described Akhalamhe as a Young vibrant man who is determined to restore the lost glory of Edo state.
The event which attracted selected members of the party across the State due to the Physical distancing rule of COVID-19 was witnessed by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, the party also picked Thompson Osadolor as the running mate.

Zenith Labour party is the first political party to conduct its primaries ahead of the Edo state 2020 election.
