The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arraigned four suspects before the Lagos State High Court in Ikeja over alleged fraud and theft involving more than ninety-five million naira.
The defendants — Adetunji Mathew, Victor Olaomo, Douglas Ikwugwu and Arowolo Abiodun — were brought before two separate courts on charges including conspiracy and stealing.
The EFCC alleges that Mathew and Olaomo, both accountants with God’s Touch Apartment and Hotels, fraudulently converted over ninety-one million naira belonging to the hotel.
All four defendants pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The courts ordered that they be remanded in a correctional facility pending the hearing of their bail applications, with trial dates scheduled for later this month.
