The Director General, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Campaign Organization, in Benue State, Mr Cletus Tyokyaa has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
Benue state Governor Samuel Ortom disclosed this while speaking to newsmen shortly after casting his vote at his Tse Ortom polling unit 016, in Gbajimba, Guma LGA.
Ortom said Tyokyaa was arrested after he was stopped and searched and the sum of N100,000 found on him
He called the EFCC to release the Campaign DG with immediate effect saying N100,000 was a meagre amount to arrest someone for.
