The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Ola Olukoyede has called on Nigerians to prepare and support the anti-graft agency in the war against economic and financial crimes and other acts of corruption in the new year.

Olukoyede gave this charge in a New Year Message to the nation signed by the head Media and Publicity of the EFCC, Dele Oyewale.

The EFCC Chairman stated that the euphoria of the new year is gladdening but should awaken in every Nigerian deeper drives for accountable conduct in order to make the Nation enviable.

He urged Nigerians to renew their commitment and channel their energy to the path of accountability and zero tolerance for corruption while expressing optimism that the nation will surely break away from the shackles of poverty and deprivation.
