The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has detained Director-General of the Voice of Nigeria, VON, Osita Okechukwu, over alleged conspiracy, abuse of office and misappropriation of public funds, amounting to N1.3 billion.
He was said to have arrived the headquarters of the anti-graft agency in Abuja at about 1.30pm on Saturday, January 29, 2022.
EFCC spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren confirmed to ait.live that Okechukwu was in their custody but declined further comments.
