An operative of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has reportedly taken his own life at his residence in Abuja.
Sources close to the Commission who said the incident occurred on Monday say the deceased was a member of Course 5 before his death and described him as a diligent, efficient and unassuming operative.

The Commission is exploring possible factors, including mental health and family challenges as being responsible for the unfortunate incident.
When contacted EFCC spokesperson, Dele Oyewale said investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the suicide of the official whose name has been withheld pending the conclusion of the investigation
