As Nigerians join the rest of the world to celebrate Eid-el Kabir, many fun lovers at relaxation spots did not comply with the covid-19 protocols for protection against the 3rd wave of the virus.
A cross-section who spoke to ait.live in Abuja during the celebration said the existence of the covid-19 pandemic in Nigeria is as hoax.
In some fun spots, fun lovers said they had to pay between N200 to N500 to gain entrance into the areas following the shutdown of fun centres to enforce all protocols in guarding against the spread of coronavirus.
Over the weekend, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and the Chairman of the Presidential Steering Committee on Covid-19, Boss Mustapha, had warned states to increase their level of preparedness in enforcing all rules against the virus ahead of Eid-el Kabir celebration on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The committee had also placed six states including Lagos, federal capital territory, oyo, Kaduna, Kano and plateau on red alert as restrictive measures are been taken against travelers from India, Brazil, Turkey, and South Africa.
