Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, in his Eid message, has called for more vigilance and collective responsibility as insecurity continues to increase in Borno, Niger, and Katsina States.
Governor Sule told Muslim faithful during the Eid al-Fitr celebration in Gudi, Akwanga LGA, that he was deeply disturbed by recent security breaches recorded during Ramadan and sympathized with affected communities while urging security agencies to strengthen intelligence and remain proactive in protecting lives and property.

He noted that there was no alternative to unity and peaceful coexistence, and advised citizens to continue to uphold the virtues of patience, sacrifice, and compassion learned during the Ramadan.
Governor Abdullahi Sule further called on residents to continue to live in harmony and commended security agencies, traditional rulers, and religious leaders for maintaining peace in communities across the state.
