Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the provision of adequate security towards the protection of lives and properties of the citizens across the state.
The governor, who was represented by his Deputy Mohammed Auwal Jatau, Stated this in his Sallah message shortly after observing the Eid el fitr Prayer held at the Bauchi Central Eid Ground.
He enjoined the Muslim faithful to put into practice the lessons learnt during the Ramadan period to attract Allah’s blessings for sustainable peace and unity among the divers communities in the state and beyond.
Bala Mohammed also appreciated the people of the state for their peaceful conduct of the Sallah Celebrations, and urged them to maintain the spirit.

He used the occasion to appeal for more support and cooperation with administration to enable him succeed in his constitutional obligation for the sustainable growth and development of the state
In his sermon the chief imam of Bauchi Bala Baban-inna enjoined Muslims especially wealthy individuals to always support the needy and the less privileged in the society as part of the teachings of Islam.
Those in attendance include top government officials, traditional and religious leaders among others.
