The Zamfara State Command of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, has deployed six hundred personnel to provide security to residents across the state during the Eid- El – fitri celebration.
The State Commandant of the Corps, Muhammad Muazu in a statement by the command’s Public Relations Officer, charged the officers and men deployed for the Eid-el Fitri celebration to work within the operational order and the Acts of the Corps.
Muazu ordered that all nooks and crannies, including bus stops and motor parks, must be manned effectively, during and after the celebrations.
He directed, the Critical Infrastructures and National Assets Department, and the Anti Vandal Unit of the Corps, to ensure thorough surveillance of all critical infrastructures and national assets, to forestall any form of sabotage during the celebrations.
The commandant congratulated Muslims for a successful Ramadan, and urged them to use the gains to show love to mankind.
