Thousands of Muslims in Ilorin, the Kwara state capital on Friday joined their counterparts across the world to mark this year’s Eid-el-Fitri celebration, signifying the end of Ramadan fasting.
Chief Imam of Ilorin, Sheikh Mohammed Bashir Soliu in his message, appealed to Muslims to imbibe the lessons of Ramadan, in all their daily endeavours.
The Emir of Ilorin Ibrahim sulugambari, led other dignitaries to the Eid prayer ground, with the state governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq absent at Friday’s Eld prayer ground.
