Former Labour Party, LP Presidential candidate, Peter Obi is calling on Muslims to seek Allah’s intervention in the killing of innocent Nigerians across the country.

He made the call in a statement by his spokesperson, Yunusa Tanko saying that it was discomforting the amount of blood being shed in the country, and asked that the situation be taken to Allah for his prompt intervention.

He advised Nigerians not to allow the prevailing hardship in the country to affect their spirit of love, brotherliness and peaceful co-existence.

Obi wants Nigerians to use the period to re-dedicate themselves to the virtues of love, patriotism and unity for the desired national development.

The former Anambra State Governor in his message called on Muslims and Christians to allow the solemnness of the Holy Month to influence their thoughts and actions in relating with one another and thinking about the future of the country.
