Eid El-Kabir: Bauchi Gov. Bala Mohammed Urges Muslims To Promote Love, Unity

BAUCHI

Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has called on the people of State, especially the Muslims, to use the Eid el Kabir Sallah celebration, to strengthen the Spirit of love and Unity for the progress and development of the state.

The governor made the call, while speaking to journalists, shortly after observing the Eid El Kabir prayer, at the Central Eid Ground in Bauchi State, North East Nigeria.

Muslims in Bauchi State, Northeast Nigeria, joined their counterparts across the world to observe the Eid El Kabir prayer, led by the Deputy Chief Imam of Bauchi Central Mosque, Bala Ahmed.

In his Sallah message, shortly after performing the prayer, Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, represented by his deputy, Auwal Jatau, congratulated Muslim faithful for witnessing the occasion.

He called on them to use the period of sacrifice and dedication to promote peace and unity in the society.

“I wish to call on the people of Bauchi to reflect on the features of the prophet, Abraham, to ensure that a sense of selflessness and love for one another is demonstrated both in our speeches and actions.”

Jatau also said, the governor enjoined the people of the state, to use the period, to strengthen love and unity in order to ensure that Bauchi State, is built by all.

Those that attended the prayer included Bauchi State Deputy Governor, top government officials, Emir of Bauchi Rilwanu Sulaiman Adamu, among others.
