The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar has expressed satisfaction with the tempo of operations by the Air Task Force, in the Theatre of Operation Lafiya Dole, in Northeast Nigeria.
The Air Chief was speaking in Maiduguri Borno State, where he had been, to have Eid-El-Kabir Luncheon with the personnel of the Air Task Force, of Operation Lafiya Dole.
He was represented at the luncheon by the Chief of Policy and Planning of the Air Force, Air Vice Marshal Isiaka Amao.
The Chief of Air Staff who acknowledged the support of the Federal government told the personnel that, as they celebrate the Sallah, they must also remain vigilant, and be as professional as possible.
Responding on behalf of the officers and men, The Commander, Air Task Force, Air Commodore Precious Amadi, expressed gratitude for the support received by the Air Task Force, to carry out its assigned tasks, in the Theatre of Operation Lafiya Dole.
It has been the tradition of the Chief of Air Staff to annually dine with the troops at the frontline, and to commend them for a job well done.
